Michael has written pop and rock songs since an early age, and his material is currently available through two outlets.

Working with colleague John Reid under the banner Scarlet Music, Michael has written and recorded tracks for 19 Management, among others.

Their chart-oriented songs range from catchy pop tunes such as New Horizon and Use It While You Can to more laid-back tracks such as Break The Chain.
